2017 was full of conferences and seminars, during which many meetings and discussions took place with world-famous specialists, as a result many programs having scientific-medical importance were accomplished for the development of sexology in The Republic of Armenia.
In 2017 from April 26 to 28 in Kislovodsk during the conference of ''Man's health'', Ph.D., Associate Professor Vrezh Shahramanyan presented The Armenian Association of Sexologists. The topic of the report was ''Premature ejaculation. Psychosomatic model''.
In Sochi from May 24 to 27 took place the 12th conference of professional association of sexologists and andrologists of Russia where the founder member of The Armenian Association of Sexologists, the lecturer of the Department of sexology of YSMU, Ph.D., Associate Professor Vrezh Shahramanyan made a report with the topic of ''Men's psychosomatic sexual disorders''.
On May 28-31 the delegation of Armenian Association of Sexologists left for Prague to take part in the 23rd conference of WAS. During the conference many meetings took place with the president of WAS, inviting professor of YSMU Kevan Wail and other members of scientific council, during which the most important current questions were discussed, especially approaches to the development and application of sexology guidelines. On September 2 and 3 in Moscow took place international scientific-practical conference ''Medical Sexology and Sexual Health'' where Ph.D., Associate Professor Vrezh Shahramanyan presented the Armenian Association of Sexologists and made two reports, ''Sexology as a mandatory subject in the higher medical education system'' and '' Premature ejaculation. Sexual analysis''.
On July 7 took place a 2-day international conference with the topic of ''Stressed person'' which was dedicated to famous psychiatrist, professor Ada (Adel) Tadevosyan's 80th anniversary. The Armenian Association of Sexologists participated in the conference in its own way, Ph.D., Associate Professor Vrezh Shahramanyan made a scientific report with the topic of ''Psychosomatics of sexual disorders'' and the print work with the same name.
On August 8 professor Allen Azizyan (Professor at the Department of Criminology at the State University of California, President of the Scientific Comittee of the Armenian Association of Sexologists) was invited to the Department of Sexopathology of YSMU. She made a report with the topic of ''General approaches to psycho-social and behavioral rehabilitation of people with disabilities''. The opinions of various specialists - sexologists, psychologists and sociologists were heard and a discussion took place.
On September 23 in the conference hall of Multi Rest House hotel complex in Tsaghkadzor took place a seminar with the topic of ''Indicators of diagnosis and treatment of sexual diseases''.
On September 25 in the conference hall of YSMU the Department of Sexopathology and Armenian Association of Sexologists organized an international conference with the topic of ''Modern Standards of Diagnosis and Treatment of Sexual Disorders''. The honorable guests of the conference were senior lecturer in medical sexology, counselor of hernontosexology and oscosexology, expert on restorative sexology Voet Gianoten (Holland), Kiev's chief sexologist, Professor of the Department of Sexology and Medical Psychology Boris Vornik.
On November 8 at the University Clinic of Sexopathology of YSMU an expected meeting took place with Adel Tadevosyan, Member of the International Association for Stress and Behavior, author of a number of monographs on stressology, founder of the center of Stress, famous psychiatrists, professor. A number of items about person's menthal health and sexopathology were discussed.
From November 27 to December 1 took place ''YSMU Scientific week 2017'' annual reporting conference, during which on November 30 during the scientific conference Department of Sexology and Armenian Association of Sexologists made a separate scientific conference during which 7 reports were presented dedicated to sexual health.
